melodrama. Do I have a volunteer for the tournament Chaplain?
Looking for some humor as we Knights approach the ultimate battle.

I offer this blessing to all on the site, not just those in the
tournement. I hope you will pause and reflect.

As you face the battle of this tournement, pray for your opponent in
whatever real battles they may face in life. Pray that your life wisdom
may surpass your skill on the board. Pray that your faceless
opponent will have a heart of compassion as well as strength for the
day. May a spirit of peace and tranquility guide not just your most
thoughtful moves, but also your life endeavors. When the day of
battle is done, may you be lifted in defeat and humble in your
victory. And ultimately, may you find a friend in your opponent.

He is a tough, tough opponent and he has tremendous class. If I
could just get the guy to lose once with me. If you ever wanted to sit
down to dinner with a guy and pick his brain, he would be a good one.
