China. Authentic is the key here. It's not that particularly want to impress them, but i want to practice for when my daughter is old enough to know what's happening. She's 1, and will probably never remember the mistakes i make this year, but if i can hone this down before she's fully cognizant that'd be perfect 🙂
I love Chinese people.

Very clever dedicated hard working polite people.

Don't be afraid you'll do OK, just remember to keep
checking that turkey every half hour.

It's true that you don't have to use foil.
But the turkey cooks better and faster with it, and it retains
all the juices inside.

What was said about the bacon is true also.

If you want you can leave that until the last
hour or hour and a half.

Hope you do well and have a wonderful time.

cheers.

Depends if we get the neck and giblets with the Turkey. We might have to buy frozen what with it being so late, and i found a recipe for gravy using the giblets and i think carrot/onion/Celery, and the liquid from teh turkey tray minus hte fat.

Bottom line...i'll give it a shot, but i'll have some Packets of Swartzkoff on standbye.
The addition of Savory Seasoning (with a light touch) will steal the Gravy Show.

It cooks faster without foil... it's also better without it.

Emmigrating to Abu Dhabi is not an option, i'm afraid.
