Nordlys, as a fledgling grammarian and language guru, you are well aware that the word 'However' denotes

a predicate of sharp contrast... Therefore, your use of the same answer twice would be quite unacceptable.

How is "no" and "Grampy" the same answer? Besides, just because you think there is a sharp contrast, it doesn't necessarily mean it is true; and if it isn't, why should I answer as if it were?

Two questions for you:

1. 2 + 2 = ___
2. However, if you add one apple to three apples, how many apples do you have? ___

1. F -- they are about thought but also socializing and fun
2. Ditto -- socializing and fun and some thought

Throwing in the "however" is not unlike asking "T/F -- Do you still beat your wife?" It can't be answered honestly unless the bias in the question happens to be true.

Nordlys, "... they are mostly about thought" correlated with your answer to question number two seemed to be

somewhat similar, so said my one good twinkling eye (as my two good lips gently smiled). You get a B+.

1. Depends on the definition and characteristics of "2".

2. Possibly a couple of fruit or maybe a nice apple pie.

You're always so accurate (and usually also right)... it's refreshing! A+.

I'm always right! Except for when I'm nearly right.
