... and there goes the neighborhood of map.
Tea toast and a boiled egg after a shower. Then I listened to the radio
station that had an invited panel in to discuss all the big news stories of
the week. The banking scandals are the biggest stories, followed by new
legislation being brought in next week to change the way abortion is dealt
with in Ireland.
After that I went for a walk and bought my favourite Sunday newspaper.
Around lunchtime my two daughters called and they brought their tiny
Jack Russell terrier with them.
We ran the little legs off the dog in the famous Phoenix Park which is
right across the road from where I live. She had great fun chasing after
her favourite toy, a tennis ball.
When they went home at 7 pm I needed another shower because the day
was so hot. 23 degrees C here in Central Dublin, blue skies and warm
glorious sunshine. The forecast is also good for the rest of next week.
We get sunshine very rarely in Ireland. Best to enjoy it while it's here.
My thoughts are also with 19 firefighters who lost their lives last week
in Colorado because that area got too much sunshine. Nearly 50 degrees
Centigrade caused lot of forest fires. Homes and lives were lost.
Very hard to strike a balance when dealing with the weather.
