U.S. Navy Nuclear Power Test

So I was wondering if anyone has ever taking the U.S. Navy Nuclear Power Test to get into the Navy Nuclear Program. I just took the ASVAB the other day and got an 89 AFQT score with a 229 in the Nuclear Field and a 219 in the Electronics Field. I believe I need a 61 on the Nuclear Test, which I am taking on Monday. I was wondering how difficult this would be to get and if there is anything I can really study to prepare for it.

Is there a Hotline we can call to keep you out of anything related to a Nuclear program? For Christ sake you still believe in fairies and angels. I wouldn't give you a potato peeler much less associate you in anyway with thermonuclear weapons.

Nuclear Nightclub

That day was bright and sunny
Seemed to me
With eagles wheeling overhead
And that train was moving on
Had to get to that Nuclear Nightclub
'Fore I's dead is what I said
Get to that Nuclear Nightclub 'fore I's dead
I'd said goodbye to moma
And goodbye to pa
And packed my bags from under the bed
And that train was moving on
I had to get to that Nuclear Nightclub
'Fore I's dad is what I said
Get to that Nuclear Nightclub 'fore I's dead

Had to get to that Nuclear Nightclub
'Fore I's dead and gone and old and grey
Had to get to that Nuclear Nightclub
'Fore I's dead and gone and old and grey
Standing at the station holding you
I remember you were dressed in red
And that train was moving on
Had to get to that Nuclear Nightclub
'Fore I's dead, that's what I said
Get to that Nuclear Nightclub 'fore I's dead

Get to say, Don't worry
I'll work it out
Never really knowin' what I'd said
And that train was moving on
Had to get to that Nuclear Nightclub
'Fore I's dead and gone
Get to that Nuclear Nightclub 'fore I's dead

Had to get to that...
Got to get to that...

I've talked to my recruiter. He said he doesn't really know himself how difficult it is to get, just that the highest score he's ever seen on it is a 72 which is really good apparently. I asked him for the Nuclear Recruiter's number but he said that the Nuclear Recruiter is out of the state right now touring a Nuclear Plant and that I couldn't get a hold of him at this time.

LOL I'm just a HUGE Beatles fan that's why I picked the name like 4 or 5 YEARS ago. Now I've figured out what I want to do with my life and just want advice/opinions on how I can attain my goals.

Let me offer this advice then, in relations with going into subs. Look into the cryptology fields. You have a high aptitude for engineering so, there is a need and a demand for the maintenence position. There is also something called direct support. this stations you on land, while only going out when needed. Dir. Sup. Subs will also give you an advantage of the last one on the subs and the first one off.

Anyway just some thoughts, from an old salt.

Thank you!!! I have thought about cryptology before but if I were to go into the cryptology field, I'd go Air Force as that is primarily an oversees job in the Air Force which I want to be stationed oversees as soon as I can. But being on Subs I will get to travel the world anyways even if I'm not stationed oversees. So it's either Navy Nuke, depending on how well I do on the Nuke test, or Air Force cryptology.
