I believe it was the first episode of Gilligan's Island. The weather started getting rough and the tiny ship was tossed.
Gilligan was told to throw the anchor over before they were dashed upon the rocks. Well, he did NOT check the anchor. The anchor was not attached to the ship, and the Minnow was lost.

If Kirk was captain of the minnow instead of the skipper I guess he might say to Gilligan something like this (with unchecked anger): "This ship's crew may be indeed be fearless as our theme song says, Mister, but you have all the brains of a retarded tribble! Spock would not have done such a stupid, illogical thing as not checking the anchor, if the Enterprise had one. If we survive this fiasco I am going to get the professor to make a crude phaser from some coconuts and make you dance as I fire it at you!" Gilligan: "I g-g-g-guess this means I won't b-b-be your little b-b-buddy?"
