I am thinking of converting my house into a home for unmarried chess players. Would anyone here be interested ?
The house is pleasant enough. Set in 6 acres in the North York Moors National Park.
Just trying to gauge if there is enough interest.

'Unmarried' sounds very dull. You mean 'single'?

Exactly how would these people be expected to live? Are chess and cooking skills required?

You been there lately? Until I get a cheque no one, and I mean no one, gets a drop of anything. I don't care if you are the, absentee owner. 😠

Sounds worth becoming unmarried for though what I'm really after is a log cabin that looks out onto a lake and forest in Scandinavia.

There are many good reasons to stay single - or unmarried - this could be another one. 🙂

Well chess skills would be appreciated and I am hoping that Robbie C will be a guest chess coach.
Don't worry about cooking, that will be taken care of.

Fair comment, I can offer you a small log/wood bothy that looks onto Roseberry Topping.
You will have to come to the main house for your meals.
