The British punk band U.K. Subs, formed in 1976, have just released their 26th album ~ entitled "Ziezo" ~ and have declared it to be their last. This is because they have reached the end of the alphabet. Their debut album from 1979 was called "Another Kind of Blues" and each of their subsequent releases had its primary title letter taken from the alphabet in sequential order... "Brand New Age" (1980), "Crash Course" (also 1980), and so on. This was always their intention, apparently. They've now reached Z, so they have called it quits.
Does anyone else have a story ~ of this kind ~ about something unusual or unique that an artist has done with their work?
