This was the year. The year that I had all of my Christmas shopping done early. I did about 60% of my shopping online leaving ample time for delivery. Unfortunately a big storm blew in shutting down Denver. I don't live in Denver and we only received about a foot of snow up here, but anything shipped through Denver was delayed.
That was last Wednesday. Fedex and, of all companies, the United States Postal Service put extra people on the job and, for the most part, got the packages to their destinations before Christmas.
Then there is UPS. Not only did they drop the ball in getting the stuff here before Christmas, they lost one of my orders and are telling me that it will be another four to five days before they can get the packages that they know the wereabouts of out to me. As for the package they lost, they told me that someone look into it in around 8 days. EIGHT DAYS!!!
Given the option in the future, I will pay more for Fedex or less for USPS. Lord willing, UPS will never get another dollar from me.
