Some folks are upset by it, but it tends to go along party lines. Those who like Dubya think it's OK; others are offended.
For me, it's a matter of judgement. He certainly has the right to use 9-11 but that doesn't mean it's wise or in good taste.
What really amazes me is that even though 9-11 happened on George W Bush's watch, nobody seems to hold him responsible for not preventing it.
Oh well, nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the public.

I don't think GWB can have the blame for 9/11. It was planned way before he came into his presidency, and happened so early on in his term that his policies had no time to affect it, for good or bad.
What really amazes me is that even though 9-11 happened on George W Bush's watch, nobody seems to hold him responsible for not preventing it.
There were warnings, but there were also warnings of 100's of other potential threats and this one didn't get noticed in time. The same could be said for Pearl Harbour.

Bush could have strengthened our borders and ports/airports, and it used to take a situation like the WTC attack to awaken America (Pearl Harbor), but the politicians are still "asleep at the wheel". There are 13,000,000 and counting illegal immigrants here with plenty coming from the middle east thru Mexico and we still are doing NOTHING about border security...HELLO!!! 🙄😲
