In light of recent events in the USA
in places like Oklahoma, Texas and others
and in view of the fact that this is an
    international chess website.

I want to pass on this evening my prayers
and hopeful wishes to the people of all those
areas that have suffered in the terrible weather
events that have cost lives, homes and countless
    damage.

I pray that people will still be found alive and that
those communities involved will have the strength
to clean up, rebuild and be even better than they
    were before.

From me and from the Republic of Ireland,
good wishes go out to you and also our best
aid. Anything anyone can do from this small
island I am sure will be offered and will be done.

The people of this small nation helped to make
America great, and will continue to help in all
ways possible to keep the indomitable spirit alive.
You are in our prayers, and we shall be there too
in all practical ways possible, as we have been before.

God bless you all. The Irish will help alongside you
to restore what was before. Know that you are in our
prayers and what practical help can be offered shall
be offered by Irish people here and by those already there.

Thanks for that Woody. Part of what makes America strong, is a good helping of Irish genes.

Well said, CP. Having been raised as one of a very few Swedes in a largely
Italian and Irish Town, an hour or so from Boston, I know this to be true.
