Summer scene, in a whimsical sense, seems somewhat like a large brightly lit stage. Individually, we walk or dance across it saying what we have to say in our usual style... energized by the verve and vigor within our bones; constrained only by the brevity of the season. Soon the curtain closes once again. We return to our dressing room cabins backstage.

The best time of year for us is spring and autumn, with winter falling into second place since we get most of our precipitation then (although there's a brief muggy season in August). The high temperatures often last through mid October, but our winter often doesn't really get rolling cold until mid December, so autumn is still short, like the spring. So we basically get 3 months of winter, 2 each of spring and autumn, and 5 long months of summer, with the first and last months feeling like normal summer elsewhere.
