Does anyone really respect you when you're on vacation?
I put myself on vacation and two of my opponent's called
their games with me on time-out. It's just a little frustrating
since I was winning both games - I think that it's a little cheap
for someone to call a time-out especially when they're losing
and they know you're on vacation.

I had the same problem when on holiday in September whereby I posted the flag but a certain player claimed two games.
If you have the timebank set up then you shouldn't be timed out, unless you decide to backpack around the world. Most timebanks are now set to 14-21 days, so that should allow you 21-28 days off in a row. More than enough to recharge your batteries.
Best advice I can give is move just before you go on holiday, then set your flag in order to give you maximum time-out period.
You'll always getthe odd player that disrespects the flag but isn't that the way of the world? Just shrug it off and next time you play them - KICK BUTT!
