Top Bullfighter Barrio Gored To Death By Bull
    http://news.sky.com/story/top-bullfighter-barrio-gored-to-death-by-bull-10497294

Once again Spanish bullfighting is in the news but this time as the result of the tragic death of a young man and husband.

Are there any supporters or sympathisers of this sport here? There is a string passionate tradition associated with bullfighting in Spain.

    It's not a sport. It's a gladiator-type entertainment.

Sometimes the bullfighter wins, sometimes the bull does.

In Pamplona there were two men seriously hurt recently. Also a spectacle to see, but not to participate in.

I do find the death of the matador tragic even though it's a spectacle I would never want to see.

A question for bull fight fans:

I have never attended a bull fight, but when they kill the bull they usually cut off various body parts and give them away to the crowd, don't they?

Why do they do that, and what happens when the bull wins?

The deceased bullfighter's foreskin is removed and
raffled among those in the crowd who happen to be
blood thirsty bankers from New York.

    I quite like this assessment.
