Perhaps I'm just getting old, but I'm confident video games are destructive in several different ways.
1. They detract peoples attention from chess, which I consider superior to any other game.
2. They are basically mindless, requiring only fast thumbs to play
3. They lead to the massive obesity problem in the United States and elsewhere.
4. I didn't invent them, so the profits went to someone else!
The only good thing about video games is they sometimes feature hot looking women in combat situations (I think I need to have my pacemaker checked!)
Now that I've solved all the worlds problems, I'm going back to watch re runs of Star Trek! 😏

Originally posted by robbie carrobieWell...maybe you are you are correct. I did not look at all of them, there are so many. The games I've seen are just mindless violence, as far as the hot women, I still live in hopes one of them will jump out of the TV screen, and srping to life!😛

Try Repton:
http://www.chessbase.com/puzzle/christmas2003/chr03-9e.htm
Nothing to do with chess, except it's a Chessbase link, and you'll see pics of a young Kasparov.
The link to Tommy's Christmas Repton is at the bottom of the article.
P.S. Sorry, no hot virtual women in that game.
