I would set a time limit on that prediction, if I were you. Wait long enough, and nearly all of us will become flatulent, senile curmudgeons.

I have informed She Who Must Be Obeyed that when I no longer know what chess pieces are or how they move, the life-support machines are to be switched off.

Flatulence aside, I believe badger's use of "old farts" refers to men of a
certain age who might be thought of as crackpots or irritating fools.

He seems to be heading in that direction himself.
