Join the Hardcore Pawn Stars! Our theme is that you cannot start a game with 1.e4 or 1.d4, forcing you to practice and learn one of the moe unusual openings. We have space for 4 moe members, to make us up to 16.

What we offer:
* rating matched clan challenges
* guaranteed respect of your max number of games
* an upcoming website detailing non 1.e4/1.d4 openings
* Fritz 8 analysis of your completed clan games (if you want)
* practice games (rated or unrated) to try out and discuss opening lines
* no rules, apart from you must start with a non e4/d4 opening
* upcoming themed tournaments, where your opening is set (thanks to Russ)

Good? Just look at some of the clans out there, you don't have to be good at all. But you do have to be a subscriber to the site. Pay for a little star next to your name and you can join a clan.

I'd like to volunteer...any thoughts on systems for White? Are we going respectable (KI Reversed, English, etc) or insolent (a3, g4 etc.)?

Check out the two Hardcore Pawn Stars threads in the Clan forum for info on openings. I personally am alternating between 1.f4 and 1.b3

One of long-time members has decided he doesn't want to commit to always using non-e4/d4 openings, so there's one space again!
