Originally posted by sonhouseYou probably didn't lose them. What happened when you updated to IE7 is that the program defaults are different to the windows you used before. Just right click at the top and edit your window to bring the favorites window back in. They'll still be the same.

Edit: When you right-click at the top, Make sure the MENU bar is checked!

Have you tried looking at the actual favourites folder (My Computer / C: / Documents and Settings / Your user name / Favourites) ?

Mines were still right there when i clicked the star, just not sitting there all the time....to be honest, i preffered the old IE6, i don't like the format of the new one.

I didn't like the format either but IE7 is soooo much better than IE6. But all you have to do is change the format to look like the old one. Just browse around in the settings and you'll find the place to make it look like the older version.

How do you get the old "File", "Edit", etc, at the top of the screen back ? I hate having to right click to copy like you do with IE7 😛

Yes, and after the menu bar is set then you can right click at the top and select Customize command bar, then go over to the right and select Add or Remove commands.
