Could it be a mechanical problem rather than a circuit board problem? Just thinking that if it's the next setting clockwise something could be misaligned.
Of course, you could just fix it by sticking labels over the settings to correspond with what they do now. Probably the cheapest and most hassle-free way.
Okay, it's not quite a fix, but it's a workaround which can be just as good.
