why do they keep players in the system after they haven't moved in over a year. why don't they delete a person if they don't move with in a six month period. wouldn't it help to save space. what are you thoughts?

One one site I play at that has no rating system they don't keep game histories for unpaid members more than 30 days. On another site that has the ELO rating system they only keep histories for unpaid members for 30 days, after which the player can't access it but the webmaster keeps a back up of the data but paid members can access the archives forever and can even download all the games they have ever played at the click of one button.
