The nice man from ParcelForce has just dropped off my long overdue order of books, one of which includes 'Why you lose at chess' by Tim Harding, which I hope will answer this truly head-scratching question. Actually the only games I play these days are my clan games - I won't rest until Maiden the UK are on the first clan page!!

Slightly related issue - to clans that is - am I the only person who uses a 56kbps dial-up line to access this site? The clan pages take an eternity to download because of all the logos (which don't appear to cache) - annoyingly there doesn't appear to be any other way of accessing the most important info that's displayed on that page, the Clans' scores!
What would be really useful is a "Clan Tables" page, as I have none of the bandwidth issues with the "Player Tables" page or any other part of the site, just the Clans page! 😠
