When I packed all my stuff away when I started travelling I gave a lot of my CD's to charity (god knows what they'll do with mixed CD's with titles like: "Sort of happy music" and "Depressing"...but who am I to judge...except the US, Holland and the UK, I feel free to judge them whenever I bloody well want to)...
Where was I?
Oh yeah.
Now I'm back in Holland. And my brother brought me my CD's that I haven't thrown away.
My Tom Waits CD's, my Who CD's and a couple of my mixed CD's.
One of the mixed CD's is: "When I was dumped."
It's a CD with songs I recorded from tape from around 1995 (so they were on a tape and I re-recorded them on to CD).
They were songs I was listening to after being dumped by Angie (a long story, but basically she got me to travel to the South of France to dump me and shag someone else in front of my nose).
One of the songs was "Yellow submarine" and another was "It's raining men".
I'm listening to it now. I swear to God it's got me in tears. Tears of laughter.
I must have been either depressed to the extent of abstractness or so disturbed that it's just as well the Spice Girls didn't exist back then!

Edit: oh my God....Milli Vanilli...."Girl I"m gonna miss you" (I think it's called.
This is painful.
