Ok, I am designing a website. A professional one. I have written all the HTML code and sorted out all the image hosting and everything is just dandy. I can put the HTML into say geocities or tripod and it works. Now someone has brought me a domain name and I have no idea how to transfer my HTML into this domain. If I go to the site it just says "This domain has been purchased from PredatorIT" or something. I've been given a password but I can't see how this gives me access to the domain. I'm probaly being really stupid but can someone tell me how this works please?

Make sure all your html either refers to pages using your domain name or relative references and ftp all your html pages to the site using the password you have been given. Simple as.

Who is actually hosting your site? Who bought the domain name and who hosts it?

I'm not going to put it up until it's fully tested, I don't want it to have bugs or glitches. I was planning ahead for when it's ready.
