In a thread [below link] I was supposedly the last poster - on the 14th of the month.
On the thread list page it has been bumped halfway up the first page and it implies that the last post was today by me. On the actual post the date is correct. Does this mean someone's post has been removed without notice again and if so why are the dates all wrong?

This could be a valuable aid to bumping threads anonymously. 🙄
Originally posted by Dr StrangeloveI have seen this happen a few times. It's annoying, because the Greasemonkey script which marks threads as read doesn't recognize this, so the thread keeps looking unread. I think it happens when the last post is removed, and the date and time which is shown in the thread list is the date and time the deleted post was posted.

It just seemed strange that suddenly that thread was on the 1st page after a week of no replies.

Then again, on Rec Reset Day I was reading a thread in General, and when I clicked on the Thread List link to return to the (duh) list of threads, I was in a different forum (as the thread was moved while I was reading it). It was a bit like being on a hijacked bus or something! Very weird.
