What are you a sucker for?

A thread for letting people know about the little things you find very difficult to resist.

Cashew nuts, fried briefly in garlic, then salted.

When there is a bass clarinet in Israeli or Balkan jazz ensembles.

I'm a general sucker, and command all the suckers. My whole army is in the stockade for insubordination.

Albums on the ECM label of music composed by Arvo Pärt even if, in some cases, I cannot remember how they differ from each other.

Whether to have a fourth bottle of Singaraja beer having had three is something that occasionally gives me some slight pause for thought. But I am a sucker for a fifth one if I have had four.

Eyes. When I meet someone for the first time, that’s where my attention focuses.

Mmm, mine’s a Mint Magnum. My ex used to keep a box in his freezer for me. We’d go out to eat an sometimes skip the pricey desert to get home for one of these.
