I took my better half out for Breakfast at Smitty's this morning. Turned out The owner and her father who use to own the Speedy auto place that I have all my work done on my vehicle arrived the same time as we did.

They were seated across from us and we chatted some during our breakfast. It is ritual with them a Christmas tradition they have been having breakfast there for the past 34 years.

Unexpectedly the father who use to own the business paid for our breakfast. I been going to his now her repair shop for years now. He is retired but still comes in a couple days a week and actually works. I will have to pass it on now and pay for someone else's meal in the near future.

My answer: Too Much / Too Much

I'll be at the gym with all the "resolution fools" the week after New Year's. It'll thin out by the end of the month, like always.

Green tea & plain chocolate.

Do you have lemon with your green tea? I always squeeze a few pieces of fresh lemon in each cup of tea, as a rule having 2 cups which is what the tea pot at the place holds.

I love seeded loaves but alas they play havoc with my digestion,I stick to tescos wholmeal or a home baked baguette.

Divertickleitis can be a demon 👹

Mince pies...

I love a cosy NYE dinner with candles on the table. I did an organic chicken with all of the trimmings and substituted my chicken with smoked mackerel. Followed by Christmas pudding with brandy cream to follow.
