Really??? That's too bad. Mine is very friendly. I've had him for over 10 years and he's never bitten anyone. He's an albino kingsnake. His name is Atticus.

As I sit grooving to this very funky Russian music (Glu'koza) I can relate that it is not a fear of physical danger which governs my reaction to serpents large and small, I am just as scared of grass snakes as cobras. It is a soul fear, an instant panic, like something leaves me, I immediately lose my head, then when the cause is removed I regain my conscious mind but am reduced to fits of sobbing which last some time.

The same result can be provoked by dead snakes, and occasionally photos.

Oh, I'm still listening to Glu'koza by the way. She's the best!
