Listenen to The BUtthiole Surfers and a Japaense band called Fishmans....very mellow herioin music.....lead singer croaked at 29 as you do.....

Sorry to give a revelation THE EAGLES SUCK!...up there with the beach boys and Michael Jacson as tastless blunders from Highschoolera who nEVE GREW Up.........

Pet Sounds from the Beach Boys was quite a well-thought out album with several layers of sounds and blending vocals that made it a milestone in musical history.

So to say they never grew up is quite unfair, IMO.

'Dressed in Black - A Tribute to Johnny Cash.' My favorite track on it is 'I Guess Things Happen That Way.' Each track is by a different artist, and that one was by one Raul Malo. I'm sure I haven't heard anything else by that singer.
