on the finishing volume now: Lord Sunday.

All in all a very good read as remembered. I recollect the ending, so I expect no big surprises.

New sci fi author, did a lot of fantasy: Adrian Tchaikovsky, 'Children of Time' set thousands of years from now post high high tech empire ended by warfare and few humans left. Gripping story.

Rereading Connie Willis: Doomsday Book.
I enjoy reading Willis each time. And rereading is nearly as good (only nearly since I know some of the surprises already 😉

Next book I hope:

"It is said.
That when a person begins to die, all his life races past him in spaceless time and timeless space, and he can feel again, only much faster, and with sunlike light, all he has felt before." - Dust by Yvonne Adhiambo Owuor

"... Spanning Kenya’s turbulent 1950s and 1960s, Dust is spellbinding debut from a breathtaking new voice in literature."
