What are your Christmas drink/s and menu

Rice and peas...nah just kidding. I was introduced to that back in the early 70s buy a Trinidadian friend in Toronto, who was in accounting and moved back to Trinidad. Your nickname name isn't "Sooky" is it? 🙂 We had Turkey, mashed potatoes, "Cabbage Patch Balls" (aka: sprouts), gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce and like Hakima a nice Chardonnay.

Warm, simple, satisfying.

Drinking Cointreau this year. Was good in hot cider.

Minestrone. We used to get that in cans [Campbells] some time ago and I only tasted freshly made once and it was very good, even though it had no meat. What s Rioja?

Cointreau is a nice liqueur to drink on the rocks as well, but pretty expensive.

Triple Sec is a decent imitation of Cointreau for mixing cocktails. Also you can try Angostura Orange Bitters, which has an intense flavour.
