I'm staying at the hotel of a casino and all of their poker rooms were closed. They've been closed since the pandemic and never reopened. Poker is the only thing I play at casinos so I need some suggestions.
Slots are pointless and I have no interest in those. I once tried black jack years ago; never again. It doesn't seem statistically possible that the dealer could win that often and seems rigged somehow.
I like poker because it pits you against other people and involves strategy. It's not like roulette where everything is entirely chance. Do those are the games I tend to prefer.
Anyone else here gamble at casinos?

Never lose. Mostly break even. Rarely fun. Rarely visit.

I sometimes go with a pal who is a big gambler.
We each throw some money into the pot and I get pisshed and watch as he loses it all.
But its a fun night.
Only take money you can comfortably lose.

In that order.
I play 21 to increase my bank. I take the winnings over to the Roulette table and play the even bets (with occasional 2-to-1 and 3-to-1 bets) for fun and to drink and enjoy the time with friends, then hit the craps table to get loud and blow the rest.
Then wake up the next morning, eat a huge breakfast and drive home. It's a good time about twice a year. I usually go with one girlfriend so we can watch out for each other.
I only had to unleash the whoopass once when some guys didn't wanna take no for an answer. 😀
