I have only plastic one so it does not take so much time.

The weekend including or prior to the 18th December. Then the tree is up for at least one week (potentially almost two weeks) before Christmas Day.

This year will be going up Sat 17th Dec (next year Sat 16th Dec).

i beleive that it is suppose to be up for 12 nights before and 12 nights after

but i just put mine up when my wife and kids tell me too lol

I am not having a tree inside. It is utter sillyness, cutting a tree to death to put it in your house for a few days or weeks.

I agree, seriously now, that there's no need to kill a tree to celebrate the pagan passing of the darkest solstice of the year and the rebirth of the sun ( ...son? JC? ... get it?) in it's annual skytrail 😵

😉 Around my house we decorate one of various ceiling-high house-plants with tiny little minature lights and ornaments. ( We try to include a voodoo doll Bush with the usual emaciated angels...)

...... 🙄 Usually on a Saturday - maybe even this coming weekend!
