Judge Jude is great, and so is Dr Phil. He may have some obscure cases, but I would definitely trust him. I also like the British Dragons Den and Grand Designs.

🙂 If his mother still enjoys one of my TV favourites, she doesn't feel very old.

Now why does the title of this thread make me smile?

My mother (85) loved Columbo, a drama about a GP practice, and the soaps. Since lockdown I’ve started watching foreign murder drama’s and the recent streaming of the Derek Chauvin trial.

I’m told that I am old.

Interestingly an excellent Swedish detective drama I watched opened with the refreshing portrayal of a 60year old female detective in a bed scene with an already married colleague - who unfortunately died a few scenes later following kidnap and torture 😥

I love Columbo too, he still feels as fresh as ever. Humor, wit although seen through out the whole series never felt boring. He was so charming.

I love the way he talks about his wife, who we never see by the way. 🙂

It seemed to me he was trying to make them believe he wasn't too bright, when in fact he was just playing them. I enjoyed the show personally!
