Answer here. If I get enough serious answers, I'll bookmark this thread in my calendar and bump it next year.
Alarm set for June 27, 2009. We'll probably all be wearing silver suits, with the obligatory "v-stripe", flying around in hovercrafts.
Also, from what I read in sexist periodicals, women will have amazing new kitchen appliances.

Nanowrimo challenge? What is it?
It reminds me of "the little artists' guild", in the local supermarket when I was 5 or 6. There was this lady who charged 25 pesos to entertain the ladies' kids doing "art", wich consisted of a line of little plastic chairs in front of a long table, where the rascals could destroy to their pleasure cheap paper and cheap aquarels. That way, the moms could go and do the shopping in peace... for 30 minutes.
So I ended up hating this lady so much, because she "organized" some sort of "art competition" with the kids, and I never won. I placed all my care and patience and love into details, and made lots of questions to her regarding how to combine colors or achieve shadow. But she always said the winner was some other kids, who splatted painting all over dozens and dozens of paper, as if it was a speed trial, and who NEVER bothered her with questions during the precious 30 minutes she earned her 25 pesos for doing absolutely nothing.
Years after that, I realized she was no art teacher. I was broken hearted, lol

And WHY am I up before four in the morning? :'( I only have one pain pill left after the one I just took, but if this one kicks in I hope to get more sleep at least.

I had an "art teacher" in seventh grade who didn't teach much and who did the work. We made block prints, but she's the one who cut out my block and while I had a vague idea of what I wanted the design to be, she did that as well. The only piece of art I ever did that my mother kept was the art teacher's work. All I did was dip the thing in paint. 😛
