Most of the times, anime don't make any sense (I did enjoy Pocket Monsters when I was young), framerates are slow, mundane plot, lacking artistic variety..what else?

the reason I asked this was because the person I'm currently having a crush on loves anime, and thus, she is having crush on every Japanese/korean boy, she's currently dating one right now.

Since I am not that of origin, I was not received of a chance. Please tell me what's so addictive about this anime thing.

P.S. I mssed this forum, my forum ban was just expired yesterday.

anime seems to be pretty pointless if you're not a 10-15 yr old, so I don't see why anyone over that age could possibly find it entertaining.

Your ethnicity is not irrelevant because certain ethnicities are glorified in anime and you can use that to draw the girl's attention.

You asked what the draw of anime is. Well, the main female characters are generally young, cute, expressive and sexy. It's silly, whimsical, sexy and sometimes the art is really good. It also has grand sci fi stuff going on, or fantasy, or both.
