We went for 10 days but ended up staying 17!
Lovely beaches, a little too hot for me but kids loved it.

But the best part was the friendliness of the locals, not
experienced such warmth since Greek island-hopping in my youth.

Any opinions?


edit: weather still pretty dull for time of year on South Island 😢

FYI: I don't eat much, I'm clean shaven, and I have all my teeth.

Ok, Ok, so I like to eat. Big deal. But that is no reason to judge me damn it!!!

Oh, and I'm swell company to be around also.

We paid just under NZ$9,000 initially for the four of us.
(Kids were "free" )
The extension was virtually nothing as the hotel was under-booked
and they wanted us there! Just an admin fee for the change of flights.

A LOT cheaper than holidaying there from Europe!
Fiji sounds exotic but it is quite a common holiday destination from NZ.

I'm surprised that anyone should thumb-up or thumb-down such
an innocuous opening post that expresses the opinion that Fijians
