Not in the real world silly, on here. 😉

What else seems to simulate life itself?

Global Factory (without windows, in which employees keep showing up to give the wheels of industry a spin, for as long

as they are able to fulfill the varied duties and responsibilities of their assigned shifts, whether day or swing or grave).

ok, so you've watched that one movie that you keep referring to ad nauseum. is that the only movie you've ever watched in your entire life? why not enrich yourself culturally by checking out some of the great movies? it's win-win: you win through the cultural enrichment; the forum wins because you'd presumable be spending less time here. if the expense of hiring DVDs (or VHS) is a problem, we could have a whip-around for you, or perhaps your good mate VR might spring for it, since he's so enormously wealthy, and never gets tired of saying so.

EDIT: allow me to recommend Vittorio de Sica's The Bicycle Thief. i can recommend plenty more, and i'm sure other members of this forum or the Culture forum could as well.
