Surely that accounts for his feral gaze.

It also accounts for his John Wayne walk.

If Bowmann can give Bobby Fischer a feral gaze and a John Wayne walk, he must be William Shatner.

Praise be!

Man you guys don't read the news much, he was on national tv
and internationally as well. Having been kept captive in Japan
in a thriller as good as any soap opera, his passport revoked by
a frothing at the mouth agent somewhere in the bowels of the
US government for daring to have a rematch with Spassky
in Yugoslavia in 92 and was on the lam ever since.
The fact that he is slightly to the right of Genghis Khan didn't help
matters nor the fact he is nutty as a fruitcake with his conspiracy
theories, some of which might even be true🙂
So he was saved in the nick of time by the government of
Iceland by them granting him full citizenship to allow the Japanese
to let him go,seeings how he now possesed a valid passport and
citizenship. They did it out of gratitude for the publicity he gave
to Iceland when he defeated Boris Spassky the first time in 1972.
Now he is romoured to maybe going back to competitive chess
although with one caveat: he wants to play a match against
the best players in the world but in his version of chess called
"Fischer Random" where the rules are the same but the pieces
on the first and last rank are shuffled to force the game to be
out of book from move one. In FR chess, both black and white
have the same setup but there are about 900 such opening
positions, the only rule is the rooks can't be side by side, something
has to be inbetween, a king, queen, bishop or knight but they can
be in their original position as long as something else has changed
around. There are modifications to the castling rules as well but
the usual set still goes, can't castle into, out of, or through check.
Then the game starts as normal, pawn promotion, en passant, etc.
all the same.
