Despite everyone taking the opportunity to jump all over arrakis, the fact is that the thread had "disappeared" for approx 30 minutes. I had posted to it (from work), drove 15 minutes home, and the thread was not there for some period of time. I don't know where it went, but arrakis was not crazy or blind. Or I suppose I have the same malady.
