Ahhh nostalgia; The art of remembering silver linings and forgetting everything else. It's always been a bucket of crap in here. Only difference is, it used to have more in it.

People coming and going, private forums and clubs all have all drained the forums. That and the smoking ban 🙂

We had a tour with one local guide for the two of us. http://www.cappadociatours.com/

There were bus tours there but we didn't have to operate by their schedule/route.

Ephesus, Istanbul, Cappadocia.

In Cappadocia we asked to have lunch at a local restaurant. We ate at a restaurant named "Local Restaurant."

The private tour was cheaper than the bus tour we originally had planned, largely by being able to stay in less corporate lodging and dealing direct with the tour company.

I've been twice - just wandered around with a guide book.
First time place was deserted.
Second time swarming with tour-bus groups.

I do wish people wouldn't go where I want to go!!! ðŸ˜
