Now, seriously speaking, you make an interesting point:
What would be the difference between a good and a bad troll?

I've got a good marker.
Go to a person's profile, and click on his public forum posts.
Pick a period of 1 week from today, and search. . .if there are more than 10 pages of posts, then there's a good chance you've found a candidate.

Originally posted by adramforallNo Adram those are 'Most Hated', you would be among the trolls. The question would be if you're a good troll or a bad troll. I would suggest that would depend on the day, and your mood.

EDIT: Also please note this is trev's list, so don't take it as being 100% accurate~!

Originally posted by huckleberryhoundYou're wrong on this one. You've outlined the criteria for identifying a basement dweller with no life, not a troll.

Good trolls:
Stephen Colbert
Weev (look it up)
Grawp
bloodninja
Sacha Baron-Cohen
Richard Dawkins
Whoever came up with the term "Friendly Fire"
Bad trolls:
Fox News
Howard Stern
Cho Seung-Hui
As for bad trolls on the internet, they're a bit difficult to list because nobody really remembers them after the fact. I could list a few people on RHP but then I'd be accused of trolling, and that would hurt my feelings.
