Have you tried an online scan?

Try Panda here - http://tinyurl.com/8bga6

Needs Internet Explorer to run.

WOW!
You got all that stuff and still have spyware!? Have you tried deleting the file jkkih.dll and removing all references to it in the registry?

Edit: I searched for jkkih.dll and don't have any reference to it on my system.

Have you updated all of your definitions recently? I use Avast (www.avast.com/) for protection against viruses. It's free (for personal use) and so far, pretty effective.

I can't delete it. I've tried stopping the process in security task manager, which seems to be able to nobble just about anything, but no go. I've located the file and it can't be deleted that way either. As for ragging the registry? I don't fancy doing that. I've killed too many registries in my life. πŸ˜›

Definitions totally up to date. I've even done a an online security check with Symantec. That found a dogy Mozilla plug in (Buddy.exe) which I have since uninstalled and deleted. But the problem has persisted.

You can't kill it cause it's running, so do this:

* Locate where the file is.
* Then boot up using the F8 key.
* Boot into Safe mode.
* Go to the file and delete it.

That should work unless it has it's tentacles in the operating system. If that's the case then you'll need to use a boot disk to boot.

* After deleting the file you may have to run Registry Cleaner to clean your registry of it. That's a lot safer than trying to do it yourself.

Good Luck

Thanks for a good tip. I run Spyware Doctor and Spybot, but when I ran the link you gave it found a malware program running that the others couldn't find!

Let me caution others who might want to go to their site though, you may have to install some plug-ins to get their program to run.
