The first reply it is correct one. It is forum abbreviation. When you find something funny you write LOL (laughing out loud).

I remember the times when I first logged on to RHP (2006) and naively asked some questions here but in "chess only" too. All I've got was stupid crap jokes instead of real anwser only because I was a newcomer, non sub and had a low chess rating.
