Hey, everybody, isn't this marauder guy the one whose head was used to wipe the floor in debates or spirituality by bbar or someone else?

Just wondering.

Edit. Even the guy left the public forums for some months, if I record correctly. Sorry if I don't. Maybe it's someone else.
That's irrelevant to this discussion.

You stay on topic, baby doll, e.g. what's that of quoting the moronic U.S. supreme court?

Let me digest it for your undeveloped mental intestines:

This is a U.K. website

Nobody gives a rat's arse what the stupid U.S. Supreme Courts says about anything at all.

There is some degree of subjectivity in any definition, of course. But when there are rules there is some attempt to define something in a way that is meaningful to the persons who are expected to abide by said rules. I suppose I'm asking for a "reasonable adult" standard. Well you best be careful and on your best behavior, you could be gone awhile before any of us knew about it.

If you got a threatening PM, perhaps it might be a good idea to "Send Feedback" ? Just a suggestion.

The only country mentioned in the TOS is the United States.

The servers for this site are physically located in the US.

The site went to a no one under 13 policy based on a US law.

Want more?

BTW, the use of the Supreme Court definition was for illustrative purposes.

Here's the definition of "obscenity" the US Supreme Court came up with in 1973 (it's still the legal definition):

"(a) whether the 'average person, applying contemporary community standards' would find that the work, taken as a whole, appeals to the prurient interest,

(b) whether the work depicts or describes, in a patently offensive way, sexual co ...[text shortened]... ban the sale of Playboy as "obscene" the court proceedings would be extremely short.
What are we to do with "applying contemporary community standards" when it is a "worldwide chess community" that we are talking about?

OK you start with your definition.
Fair enough. I have a couple of points to start. First of all, it seems difficult to define pornography when there are so many different standards about what it is. So let's first say that not all porn is created equal. Secondly, I would say that porn, whatever you may think about it, involves some level of "image-making." So if I accept this, I could say that a war started to make a country or a president look better fits a definition of pornography in this broad sense.

The "community" is RHP users. Is their any evidence that the average user here finds the exhibition of a female breast to be "prurient"? I don't think so.

EDIT: Here's a legal definition of "prurient interest":

PRURIENT INTEREST - A morbid, degrading and unhealthy interest in sex, as distinguished from a mere candid interest in sex.
