My stance on the death penalty has soften somewhat over the years due to realization that all humans are fallible and err. Sometimes terribly. For someone so young if they had no priors and weren't hardned criminals, give them a chance to live. How be it behind bars.I don't favor the death penalty in most cases. In cases were there are more than 3 credible eyewitnesses, proven cold blooded killers, (and they are out there) put them to death. Cases of a lesser stature, life no parole. Period.
Originally posted by shavixmirThey killed two people, both grandparents. But when it comes to life terms, it's based on the severity of the crime, so I guess they figured that the severity warrented three life terms. One of the things we don't know (cause they don't always let it out) is how they might have beaten the old couple with hammers, stomped on their faces with their boots, cut off their arms and legs, pulled out their tongues... Well, you get the picture.
