Statistically, there looks to be no difference between the first four opening moves. But can you tell the openings used? eg Ruy Lopez vs English vs etc etc. This would be a mammoth task.
As people have asked before, can chess be "solved"? I think and hope not.

Interesting to see e4 as 4th on the list. But I am sure for highly skilled players, d4 is the most optimal opening because of the positional games that result. Merely an opinion: Fischer said that e4 was "best by test" but Kasparov often played d4.

The database I referenced was games of the last 5 years between titled players under classical conditions.
