What should this thread be about?

I don't want to commit to a topic for this thread so that I can distance myself from it later should it end up failing. On the other hand, we could hijack this thread by suggesting thread topics that were bound to fail which would mean the thread's failure could later be framed as a success.

It might not be the optimum time in Britain where you often don't really know when a train is going to arrive or depart from a station.
