@vivify saidI don’t include tribute bands nor offshoots such as “Jeff Lynne’s ELO” who I saw in Glasgow … then I’d say it was either The Rolling Stones at Twickenham or Squeeze in Brighton.
Last summer I went to a Sleep Token concert (British rock band). Last December I saw Pentatonix performing Christmas songs. Both were really great.
I want to try to go to at least one concert each year.
Can’t remember the dates tbh; both were amazing but the wife and I had a VIP pass from Accenture to the Stones which included a limo pick up from home and access to their private box ; so that was pretty special.
I did look at getting tickets, flights and accommodation for Duran Duran in Italy this summer but the overall price was mental. Btw I saw Duran Duran in ‘83 and they were fantastic.
@diver saidNext time ask me to check, I can find cheap flights if you don't mind connections π

Got to Bilbao and back for the Ulster final for about £140.
@vivify saidWent to see the Ulster orchestra last night and two weeks ago, before then I can't remember. Oh wait, it was in Amsterdam last year, thought it was Rufus Wainwright but turned out to be something he just created and wasn't so good.

@rookie54 saidWere you here from the late seventies to 80’s when we had the Texas jam each year at the old cowboys stadium? It always had around six or seven main bands. The last I went to had Ted Nugent, Deep Purple, Bon Jovi, Scorpions, Night Ranger and Grim Reaper. Very hot, cold beer and lots of people puking, it doesn’t get any better π.
