Here's a thread for fictitiously putting words in Russ' mouth or projecting onto him opinions that we imagine or wish he had regarding regular posters, thread topics, the web site, and the world generally.

"A consultation vote is now running regarding making known the thumbs down that Suzianne gives to forum posts in the future. If that succeeds in inhibiting her, the facility could be expanded to include other posters like her."

"These thumbs seem to be causing a lot of argument which is keeping interesting stuff out of threads. I think I'll disable them for a bit and see if it dies down."

Perhaps they've moved the "interesting stuff out of threads'' per se to between their interior lines.
