Hmm, the highlight of my year. I was forced into the opportunity to live by myself, which is something I have always wanted to do. It was bad at the time because I lost a VERY important friendship but in the long run it has worked out splendidly. My year didn't have many highlights so if I have to pick something that would be it.

my highlights:
1. my exam results-woohoo!
2. lotsa friendships that have grown
3. seeing iron maiden live-wooooooooooooooooooo!π΅
it's been a good year...
however, my computing teacher just e-mailed me my homework...all of a sudden, everythings not so peachyπ² (hint to anyone wanting to study computing, don't give your teacher your e-mail address just before a holiday, but if you do, and they send you homework, do it then send it back with a note saying that you'll expect it to be marked for when you return...).
You know, now that I think about it, this year was my big trip, so that would be a hightlight. I took a cross country trip from Spokane, WA to New York. It was a blast.
Also I saw great concerts-
Counting Crows
John Mayer
DAVE MATTHEWS!!!!!
Creed
Reo Speedwagon
STYX
Journey
I think that's it...
So now that I've realized that I really did do some great stuff this year, what would be my number one highlight?
It would have to be Dave Matthews at the Gorge in WA. It was AMAZING!!!!!
(...how could I have forgotten Dave...?)

Okay, I'm really done now...π

Prop 'em up there one more time to play the same old songs, yet again. People just seem to eat it up.

Even worse is the trend to take every mediocre cartoon from twenty years ago and make it into an uninspired movie. But I digress...

But I would also say Bon Jovi filling a 70,000 concet at Ibroz stadium was better.
Finally my biggest hilight was my three week holiday to Australia...It was fantastic climbing the harbour bridge (Sydney), diving in the great barrier reef (Carins) and seeing the outback form a 4 day campervan ride.

Also, they were a little before my time, I was still preteen, early teen when they were really going strong, so when I got into them, they were bands who I thought I would never be able to see in concert. That concert was even better than I thought it was going to be, because i was thinking you know, they're old now, past their prime- NO WAY! They put a lot of these youger bands to shame! Their energy was phenomenal, jumping around the stage and they sound just as good as when they WERE in their prime. I've been to a lot of concerts, and they have got to be in my top 3 at least. Yeah, top 3. Amazing concert. ππππ

Styx wasn't bad in their day. I did see them open up for Rush one time. I used to have Mr. Roboto on a 45. That was back before these newfangled CD thingies came around.
